Poetry Reflections
So far after completing a couple of poems on our own i see that they are not that hard to write. Although I struggled with the 20 word poems i was able to get through it and make sense of what i was trying to say. The sonnets i had a hard time reading but once i understood how they were structured i was able to easily construct my own. I am starting to see that poetry is not that bad and it may even be a stress reliever as it could have a positive affect on ones life.


While reading writing down the bones i found quite a few of interesting tips while writing and going through the process of writing. As it follows i have said before that i never understood how to start writing or the reasons that people start to write but as it is said in writing down the bones, you can not make your mind to do anything. In order to write good pieces of writing your mind and writing has to be the same as it flows onto the paper. That speaks a lot to me because i always thought that when you sat down to write something you already had an idea and knew what you were gonna says and or write about.
Also later in writing is not a McDonald's hamburger it is said that you can not come to the paper with an idea because it will not always come out making sense. That really spoke to me because it made me believe that what you are writing about typically has been on that persons mind for quite awhile. in order to get it to make sense and have a meaning most times you have to come with an idea but not the whole poem as it takes time to write. 
while writing life through a dogs eyes i truly realized that writing is about absolutely nothing. That no matter what you write it is good because it is yours and it is only yours. It helped show me that even if a poem is about something so pointless or meaningless that it is about paint drying, it can still use words and descriptors that make it one of a kind. 
Another important piece of advice was that you may have all of the details you need and all the pieces you need but that does not mean that it will go onto the paper and be a beautiful cake. that is where you start to become descriptive and add different words to make it that much more interesting and can even add a twist that is not always really possible, but that is the best thing about writing.



Creative essay reflection
A creative essay is not a true essay, it is just a story told in the the first person with bit of creativity. There is alot of different characteristics in the creative essays. it differs from the poems because of how much longer they are compared to the poem. they include alot more characteristics and characters and can give alot more of picture to a writer. With The creative essay they are told to give a picture of a story and a message to send to the reader. 
Since i started writing i have seen alot of similarities between all the writing. That is it all starts with YOU, if there story does not have some self relation in it the story will be extremely hard to write, you will lack the essentials that you need to make any piece of writing a masterpiece. Through out the semester i have gone through many different changes in my writing from going about just writing down details to trying to bring a character alive. then to make sure that all the character have a true meaning and that the stories also have a connection to you.Although i am not one to do alot of writing i found that the creative essays were extremely helpful in all types of writing as once you can make the writing about your personality and tend to what you want to do any piece of writing can be a great piece. Through out the semester each [piece of writing has helped me see different things in writing and what can be done to make sure that the characters has a point.
